Dear Members and Supporters,
I am pleased to present the Treasurer’s Report for Cycling Action Network for the year ending June 30th, 2023.
Overall there have been few major changes to CAN’s operation in this financial year. There has been increased revenue through the Share the Road program due to contracts with major infrastructure companies.

Road shoulders 1.5 metres
No bridges to be widened or replaced, so will be pinch points
Cycle unfriendly roundabout at Moonshine Rd
Proposed modifications to Eastern Hutt Road / Stokes Valley Road intersection. Intention is to slow traffic in northbound direction, travelling along Eastern Hutt Road as a number of crashes have resulted from excessive speed.
Two Dutch transport experts visited Wellington City Council at the end of November, as part of their trip to NZ to assess the new Christchurch cycling masterplan.
