Patrick is cycling the Tour Aotearoa, 3000 km from Cape Reinga to Bluff in February 2018. His goal is to raise $9000 for Cycling Action Network.
It's an epic ride for a great cause.
Please show your support for better cycling in New Zealand, by helping Patrick raise funds for CAN at our GiveaLittle page
"My goal is to raise $3 for every kilometre I cycle, for a total of $9000. Thank you for your generosity."
CAN is New Zealand's national network of cycling advocates. We work with government, local authorities, businesses and the community on behalf of cyclists, for a better cycling environment. CAN is an incorporated society (registration number 1139912) and a registered charity (registration number CC36909).
Tour Aotearoa is one of the world’s great bikepacking trips: stretching 3,000km from Cape Reinga to Bluff it follows a combination of cycle trails, tracks, paths and lanes connected by the most enjoyable country roads available.
The Tour Aotearoa is designed by Jonathan Kennett, a New Zealand cycling historian and guidebook writer. He launched Tour Aotearoa in February 2016 by organising a 3000 kilometre Brevet from Cape Reinga to Bluff along a route designed to highlight New Zealand (and avoid heavy traffic). It includes many Great Rides and quiet back country roads.
