CAN do 2009

Hi

Great to see you all in New Plymouth. Some of you took away CD-ROMS which contained various pre-designed forms to help you. For those of you who did not receive this here is everything again.

In case you might lose this page, perhaps note down that the search button will find "Treasurer Assist"

MEDIA GUIDE

This document is intended to be a general guide for cycling advocates to help them in dealing with the media. It covers some general points about key messages, interviews, potential problem areas, approaches by and to the media, and suggests a simple media policy that all cycling advocacy groups should have in place.

Resource Type:

CAN Media Kit

Advocates need ways to get their messages out to people. The media are an important way to achieve this. This pack of information is designed to help cycling groups to develop and maintain a good working relationship with the media.
CAN wants the media kit to be useful. We'd welcome feedback on its usefulness, together with corrections and additions. Please send feedback to: Cycling Action Network, media@can.org.nz
