This is interesting! He supported John Key and Rodney Hide when they said "it was about cars" and were happy to cut cycling budgets.
Knowing about him pretty well, I hope he is not using this for any personal political milage - to be seen cozying up with the greens.
I will be happy to talk to him and see what he can do to make cycling safer but will be vary if it has any political twists.
Sorry! I am not being skeptical, just a tad cautious.
