I'm getting feedback from people that it's not obvious how to create a new account on the CAN website.

"Recent Posts" is a handy tool for checking recent articles and comments, but isn't useful when people have added a lot of "admin" content to the site like book pages and images.

Would it be possible to add a field to the user accounts for Skype user names? This would be useful, so that CAN members can get in touch with others. I suggest that this field should be visible to registered users only.

What do you think? Does this make sense? Is it easy enough to implement? Can anybody forsee any problems with this initiative?

The website uses a spell checker. Good. Well, part of the website has this tool (not this article as I'm composing it).

The spell checker is for American English. Not so good. Is British English available? Or even NZ English?
