The Bay of Plenty Regional Transport Strategy (2007) has sustainability as a strategic outcome, specifically 'real efforts need to be made to manage travel and travel demands, optimise existing networks and improve alternative modes" including implementing local pedestrian and cycling strategies.
The London Cycling Action Plan outlines a package of measures to achieve the vision of developing cycling in the city. It addresses how cycling will contribute to achieving key priorities from the Mayor's Transprt Strategy in a way that recognises London's cultural, geographical and social diversity.
