Final Policies:
1. Compulsory 3rd Party Insurance for Motorists. Issued on 11th May 2008. No changes since 31st August 2009.
2. Fuel tax. Issued on 11th May 2008. No changes since 31st August 2009.
3. Health and Fitness. Issued on 9th November 2008. Last revision online 10 November 2008. Needs annual review to see if any changes are needed to keep current.
4. Cell Phone Use in Vehicles. Issued on 1st November 2009.
In Progress - HIGH PRIORITY:
1. Speed Limit Tolerance. Provisional policy. Was to be reviewed by Glen before releasing as a final policy, to be checked if he did this and whether anything else needed doing before releasing as a final policy. Last editing on 10 October 2009.
2. Speed Limits for Urban Areas. Provisional policy. Released as a Provisional Policy 12 June. Online edits occur during June and July. Needs to be progressed through to final policy.
3. Car Parking. Second draft. No online changes since early March 2009. Needs to be circulated to CAN Committee and to CAN Forum for next stage of consultation.
4. Road pricing. First draft. Needs Andrew and/or others to finalise before circulating. No online changes since early November 2008.
5. Current Fuel Tax Regime. Released as first draft to CAN Core & Forum on 12 June 2009. Andrew updates in June re the repealed Regional Fuel Tax option by the National Govt. Needs to be released as a second draft ASAP.
6. Broken Glass on Roads and Shared Pathways. Second draft. Policy appears not yet moved from old site, so link is to the copy of the old CAN PDT pages. Last online change May 2009. Needs a quick review prior to progressing towards being released as a provisional policy once it is moved over onto new site.
MEDIUM PRIORITY:
1. 40 km/hr Speed Limit on Local Roads. First draft. Created by Ken Wuschke in June 2009. No more edits since.
2. Bikes on Buses. First draft. Needs more work before being circulated to CAN Committee. Last online edit September 2008.
3. Cycle Skills Training for Children and Adults. Not drafted. Needs some one to start it.
