Nelson Tasman Active Transport Forum

The Nelson Tasman Active Transport  Forum is a multi-party forum for those within the region who have an interest in the development and promotion of active transport. 

The forum was set up to encourage information sharing and cross-sector action in Nelson/Tasman between agencies with an interest in Active Transport, including representatives from such sectors as education, environment, health and disability, recreation, sport, tourism, transport and local and national government.

The Nelson Tasman forum meets three or four times a year. We hope to develop a website page shortly that will display agendas, minutes and presentations from each forum, as well  the Terms of Reference, (which are attached to this email)

For 2010, with funding support from the Nelson Marlborough District Health Board,  Nelson City Council will be responsible for hosting and facilitating the forum meetings.

An invitation and agenda for the first meeting on April 7^th is attached.
