GWRC is calling for submissions on the regional Travel Demand Management Plan and the Road Safety Plan, due 14 September. Any volunteers to put together a submission?
As yet the draft plans don't seem to be on the GWRC website, but I've got paper copies.
Could think about whether, for example, "fewer than 75 cyclists injured in the region per annum" is a reasonable objective. Could also try to get something written in that cycling issues be taken into account in any new transport initiative...
