From 6.00pm, Velodrome. Registration for kids race: 5.30pm outside Sport Wanganui.

Tue 11 Feb Lyneke's four year cycle trip around the world
7.30pm, Davis Theatre, Whanganui Regional Museum. Hear about her adventures and see the photos she took along the way. Cost: Koha.

Wed 12 Feb Go by Bike Day Breakfast
7.00-9.00am, Majestic Square. Bike to Majestic Square before work to receive a free breakfast and meet other cyclists.

Tue 18 Feb History of Cycling by Kyle Dalton
7.00pm, Davis Theatre, Whanganui Regional Museum. Kyle will talk
about the history of cycling from a Whanganui and regional perspective.
Cost: Koha.

Thur 20 Feb Documentary Movie. Energy! O Energy!
7.30pm, Quaker Meeting House, 256 Wicksteed St. Lone director, 24 year old Mark
Pedri embarks on a year long, 700 mile cycle journey across deserts and mountains of
the US Northwest to find out which energy source is the best.
Screened by Whanganui Film Society Cost: Paper koha.

Every Friday in February
Slow, easy one hour bike ride
5.30pm, pigeon statue near i-site.
Routes and stops to be decided on the night. 10-20km. No charge.

Sun 23 Feb Kiwikids Race & Helmet Fitting for all Cyclists
1.00pm, St Johns Hill School. Ages 4-13 years. Registration for race: 12.15pm.
First race of a 3 race series. Come along and have fun building on your bike skills! Visit
