HOW TO ADD A SPOT TO THE MAP

1) Go to the map, and sign in to your Google account.

2) On the left side panel, click on the button "Edit". You will notice a few changes on the screen. Three square icons appear on the upper left side of the map panel. Use these icons to edit the map.

3) If you have not used a Google map before, practice zooming in and out by using the slider on the left side of the map, or by right-clicking the mouse and left-clicking 'zoom in' on the drop-down menu that appears;  when you zoom in you will see the black spots I have added in more detail. Try 'grabbing' the map to move it by holding down the left mouse button and moving the mouse.

4) To add a spot, click on the marker icon (it looks like a blue drop), and then click on the place in the map where you want to add a spot. A box will pop up. In this box there is a form. Use the form to give the spot a name and a description. In the description type some specific information about why this is a black spot. Then click "OK".
