October Critical Mass ride attracted approximately 40 riders and mostly new faces.  Agreed that NTCA will not assume ownership for this event, but will publicise it and exert leadership (for example discouraging Critical Mass from using the one way streets, owing to the large number of children.

E-day NTCA was strongly represented at e-day, which was highly successful with 100 cars per hour.

CAN-Do conference Graeme attended and brought back hard copies which will be available on the website soon.

Digital Workshop Graeme attended and used info to move NTCA to a new website that will enable multiple parties to add to the site, which will enable us to use the site to attract more new members.  Address of new site is www.can.org.nz/northtaranaki.

Graeme, Axel and Andrew are also attending the New Plymouth conference Fundamentals of Planning and Design for cycleways.

CSIT Meeting Oct 29th also attended by the base hospital Health Promotion unit and Sports Taranaki.  Graeme provided the update of the NPDC cycling/ walking projects Nathaniel distributed at the meeting.  Nathaniel reported funds have been earmarked for the top 38 infrastructure priorities NPDC/NTCA have identified to submit to the NZ Transportation Agency.  Minutes available soon.  Agreed NTCA would play a vital role in the LTCCP process and would need to liase with Nathaniel regarding submission dates, etc.
