Action: Stuart will email through brief report about survey results.

2. Cycle skills training

Moturoa School has received all the Let’s Go Training available:  Train the Trainers for its teachers,  Cycle Skills Training for the Year 5-6 and Scooter Skills Training for the Year 1-4

Joelle has followed up with Delwyn, the Principal via emails and phone calls, providing her some links to funding options available. Delwyn said she is “snowed under” (her words); the Bikes in School project is also one of several to be part of a Funding Proposal package.

Nigel reports Boys High PTA is promoting cycling training. Nathaniel reported on a meeting (attended by 60 boys) trying to address the safety of boys cycling to school dressed in a black school uniform. Explored a number of options for the boys making themselves more visible.

3. Velodrome Trust

Brief discussion of the primary level bike skills course they want to build adjacent to the Taranaki Bike Park. Joelle followed up on a meeting with Rob and Pam with an email offering them some suggestions for funding.

Nathaniel has given them feedback about all the prohibitions on the sign at the Taranaki Bike Park entrance - how many cyclists are assuming it's a private facility and not going in.

Action: Graeme to write letter of support for their grant applications.
