Wellington City Council is interested in cyclists views about the Draft Recreation Activities Policy. This is important for cyclists because the policy outlines which park areas can be shared by pedestrians and cyclists. The consultation is not out yet, but it will be out at the same time of the Draft Cycling Policy and Draft Walking Policy.
Wellington City Council is interested in cyclists views about the Bus Priority Measures for Courtney Place, Kent Terrace and Cambridge Terrace. This is important for cyclists because WCC is proposing BUs/Cycle Lanes. Consultation is not open yet - the tentative date proposed by the council is August, although recent developments indicate that this consultation will be postponed due to lack of support from council to restrict traffic to cars on Courtney Place. For now, let's just keep it in the radar.
