Cycling to help the Petrel crisis!

I'm getting on my bike to raise money for a rat eradication on Henderson Island in the mid-Pacific. Henderson Island is overrun with pacific rats, which are threatening to exterminate petrels and other seabirds, as well as 4 endemic land birds. My sponsored cycle (October 2nd- 7th) starts at sea level in Wellington, and finishes at the top of Mt Ruapehu. I aim to raise money for this project - organised by the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds. My website (with lots more information and links to allow online donation) is

I'd love for anyone to join me for part or all of this cycle, or sponsor me - to ensure that a saveable part of the planet gets saved! (Donations are tax deductible too!).
