Graeme, and all at NTCA
I'm contributions manager for CAN's "Chainlinks" magazine . Mirian (Chainlinks editor) and I think it would be good to have a article or two or more on NP and the NT region as part of a sales pitch for the cycling conference and CAN Do
things to have would be
1, cycling within New Plymouth, including ideas for rides.
2, ideas for day rides from NP
3, ideas for round trip tours from NP e.g round the MTn, or forgotten highway with return via SH3 or SH4 or W'nui river road.
4, ideas for rides to get to NP (e.g from Auckland, from Wellington, other suggestions e.g W(h)anganui, Taupo
I'm quite happy to start off drafts of the touring ones 4 and a cut at 3, as I've got Nigel Rushton's tour guide "Pedallers Paradise", but the ones that are more local to NP would be a lot easier of someone from NP/NT could help. Would you be able to nominate a person or point of contact for me to work with at your meeting this coming Wednesday.
