CAN values your privacy
We never share any information we gather about you with anyone else apart from our local groups. Occasionally we allow other organisations to add their material to our mailouts, but that's all. All the information we gather is held securely on our web server and can only be accessed by a few CAN administrators on a need to know basis.
If you join CAN (either as a financial member, or as a friend of CAN) or any of our local groups, or any of our mailing lists, we maintain a database of your contact details and interests (e.g. your subscription choice). This is purely so that we can send you information on the subjects that interest you.
You have the right to ask us what information we have gathered about you and to request changes. If you have a user account on our website, you can see all this info for yourself, and change it. If you don't have a user account on our website, but are subscribed to one of our mailing lists, what we have of you is your e-mail address, we may have your name, and we will have your subscription choice. That's it. When you unsubscribe, that information gets deleted.
Our website uses cookies. We don't do anything with them, other than making your browsing experience smoother.
