Does anyone have suggestions for minor infrastructure works to improve cycling? Here's some to date:
1/ Revisit the traffic island at the eastern end of Waione Bridge (proper fix would cost lots, maybe something cheaper would work
2/ Make footpath on north side of Kennedy-Good bridge a shared path - would need good ramps at each end.
3/ Similar treatment for footpaths on both sides of Silverstream Bridge (its in Upper Hutt, but Hutt City have a 50% share of this)
4/ Make the footpath through Taita gorge a formal shared path - does not seem to be at present.
5/ Signage at access points ot cycle paths, throughout city.
If you have ideas, a photo is best - a good number of these minor projects got done last year, so it is worth considering possibilities
