Abstract:

This document presents a strategy to provide a framework for future cycle planning, management, promotion and educational activities across the region. The direction indentified in the Regional Cycle Strategy will assist local Councils in their planning and provision of cycle facilities. It will also help to raise awareness of the benefits of cycling as a recreational activity and as a form of transport.
