LE RIDE WELLINGTON PREMIERE
“Man, do I have some respect for the riders who rode in 1928.”
— Phil Keoghan
Documentary | New Zealand/Australia/USA/France 2016
Director: Phil Keoghan | 90 mins

Handsomely shot, and rich in fascinating detail and photographic evidence of Watson and his teammates’ epic achievement, Keoghan’s documentary feels their pain so that you don’t have to. It’s a stirring salute.
Amazing Race supremo Phil Keoghan jumps onto a 1928 bike to ride the Tour de France as experienced by Kiwi Harry Watson, one of the first English-speaking cyclists to enter, let alone complete the race. Phil will speak at the screening.
