Go By Bike Day 2017 will be on Wednesday 8 February.

From NZTA: "That said, regions are always welcome to use alternative dates however we do find sticking to this allows people to tap into the national PR.  Our communications team are working on some messaging & PR around this with Acumen (who provided this service under Bike Wise).  There’s a huge amount of activity taking place over Jan-March which we want to present as a package so punters can see the depth of the program.me"

The weather is getting better, so it's time to be out on the bike more, so it's learn more about the progress of our city cycling plan called Bike Hamilton.

We have a special guest from Hamilton City Council giving us an update. We also want to disucss the up and coming Car Free Day on 22nd Sept,the next steps of Regional Cycling programme business case progress and much more. Location: The Londoner, 596 Victoria Street, Tuesday 6th Sept, 5:15pm. Presentation starts at 5:30pm, (please note the different location)

This SGM will be held in the ASB Sports Centre, Wellington, on 1st October 2016 at noon.

Where: Meet by Freyberg Pool, Oriental Bay for a 1.5 - 2 hour ride around the bays. Flat and hilly options. 

When: 5:30pm, Monday 1 August 2016. We’ll be back in plenty of time for Le Ride, at 8:30pm The Embassy Theatre. Phil Keoghan will speak at the screening for 30 mins.The bike ride is free.

The Auckland Bike Challenge is all about getting more people to rediscover how easy and enjoyable riding a bike can be. We've got some great prizes to give away too!

This is a webinar (web based seminar) for cycling advocates on how to ensure that the government and local body UCP funding for cycling projects is spent in a timely and effective manner. The aim is to allow advocates to share ideas on such topics as countering "bikelash", dealing constructively with councils and NZTA, etc.
