NPDC Mayoral Candidates forum
The New Plymouth Walking Advocacy Group is organising a mayoral candidate forum for Sept 9th - 6pm to 8pm.
Mainly focused on candidates' understanding/views regarding the Walking and Cycling Model Community funding.
They plan to give each candidate a carefully researched list of questions in advance.
Will post up a flyer with more info. when available.

Transport planning in New Zealand, Peter Stoeveken, a transport planner from Germany
Peter Stoeveken, a transport planner from Germany who is currently doing some contract work for Greater Wellington and NZTA, will be giving us his perspective on the way transport planning is done in New Zealand - and in Wellington.
For this meeting, you are also welcome to invite non-members of Sustwelltrans with a specific interest in these issues - although space will be limited.

SUNDAY 27th June at Illona’s house (12 Carlisle St, Island Bay) 1pm - 4pm.
July Meeting: 6 July at the Library, Courtenay Place
We have a new meeting venue at The Library, 53 Courtenay Place, level 1 (above Burger King) so come along and check it out - yah a venue for food and beverages!!
