Get involved with CAN's Portfolio Groups

CAN is largely a volunteer-driven organisation, both nationally and in our local groups. As such, we need your help to make things happen!

Many of CAN's regular activities have been grouped into Portfolio Groups - see the table below for more details. These are relatively informal groupings of people who collaborate on a particular set of tasks or issues. Each Portfolio's activities are guided by the national Committee and links with other Portfolio groups are also provided where necessary.

It doesn't matter if you've never done anything like this before or you don't think you have skills of use to us. The number one attribute we're looking for is enthusiasm! We're happy for you to "listen and learn" initially and then slowly get more involved in a Portfolio. If necessary, some training of Portfolio members will also be investigated. With a group of people in each Portfolio, this also allows you to spread the workload and to be able to scale back down if other commitments crop up.

If you want to know more about how Portfolio Groups work, check out our Beginner's Guide.
