Digital Hackfest
Hackfest 'Sharpen your online skills' was the motto of the hackfest. CAN's new website is ready and local groups are now starting to transfer their local websites to integrate with the CAN site, or are setting up their own webspace for the very first time. 35 CANners from all around the country attended the hands on training workshop.
Our digital strategy is taking off like a rocket. Cycling will soon have an even more active online community.

CAN Do
CAN DoThe CAN Do is our annual get-together for CAN members from around New Zealand. It was a chance to network, share experiences, get new energy and great ideas. The CAN Do included rides, seminars, training ideas and solutions.
56 CANners attended the CAN Do. 18 local groups were represented. The CAN Do has never been this big before, which is testimony to the commitment by our staff who organised a fantastic event that ran as smooth as it gets.
We have posted notes from each session.

CAN Do bike loan and airport pickup service
Steven Muir coordinated the bike loan to enable hose without bikes to participate in field trips, commute around the city and go on the Little River Rail rail two-day excursion that followed the conference. Steven also offered an airport pickup service using his tandem and bike trailers that he produces himself. >>More at attached document.
